RIPLEY’S HUMAN CALENDAR

MRBLUEZ CALENDAR is an ultimate and multi-century calendar consisting of dates from October 15, 1582 to December 31, 9999. It is an innovation of the Gregorian solar calendar where the latter which was originally developed in a software (program) was translated into a real manual calendar chart along with the arithmetical concepts and parameters involving it.

Mechanics: A 4-digit year was split into two. The 1st 2-digit part is called “Century Digits” while the next 2-digit part is called “Year Digits”. It has a 4-color coding system where “Century Digits” should match with “Year Digits’ color. In case of a leap year, the month of January or February should be “red”.

ripleyconfirm It is a 4-century cycle calendar. It counts days as the basic unit of time, grouping them into years of 365 or 366 days. The solar calendar repeats completely every 146,097 days, which fill 400 years, and which also happens to be 20871 seven-day weeks. Of these 400 years, 303 (the “common years”) have 365 days, and 97 – the leap years- have 366 days. This gives an average year length of exactly 365.2425 days – or 365 days, 5 hours, 49 minutes and 12 seconds.

Mr. Bughao (author) received Ripley’s cartoon on June 15, 1997 from Ripley’s Head Office, Orlando, Florida, U.S.A. which certifies his excellence in the field of calendar calculation ranging from October 15, 1582 to December 31, 9999 with astounding speed and accuracy. The inscription in this calligraphy states “ Ireneo Bughao of Manila, Philippines is able to calculate the specific day of the week of any day in the past or future faster than a computer! ”

He was also featured in the “Philippine Star” newspaper which highlights “In recognition for his unusual expertise in the speedy calculation of dates based on the Gregorian Calendar, which has elicited the interest and respect of International Mathematicians. The distinction earned for Ireneo as the only second Filipino to be included in the prestigious records of Ripley’s Believe It or Not.
